Singapore Itinerary For 4 Days 3 Nights

Singapore is definitely a must visit place in Asia because of the list of things that you can do there that can't be done elsewhere in Asia. Although there is an extensive list of places to visit and things to do in SG, 4 full days in the City will be enough to make the most out of your visit. You also have an option to visit Malaysia (KL) but you will have to stay longer (5-6 days) to make up for the long travel time.

How to start with the Itinerary?

First, list all the places that you want to visit and all the things to do in SG because you can accomplish everything in just 4 days! Just cross out the things later on that you decide not to do once you're in Singapore.

Second, decide if you'll be going to Malaysia specifically in Johor Bahru (nearest City to Singapore), or if you'll go further to Kuala Lumpur or other cities in Malaysia.

Lastly, Singapore is a very small place, so just make sure that the places you'll visit are nearby since this will save a lot of time despite having efficient transportation systems.

Below are my recommendations for Itineraries going to Singapore. Feel free to alter, combine or copy depending on what you would like to prioritize, your budget, or the people you're with.

If you're going to KL, I suggest you just spend 3 full days in SG based on the list above, and spend additional 2 days in Malaysia.

Travel time to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore should be around 4-5 hours including immigration and bus ride for one way. But 1 day will be enough to go to key tourist spots in KL.

The two Itinerary above can be accomplished as long as you're efficient and do not have a lot of resting time. But you may opt to remove some of the above based on your preference. For Example, we removed Night Safari because we didn't want to try based on reviews that we heard and we skipped Bugis Street because we were too tired to walk hehe :)

  1. Hi, thank you for posting this. :) super helpful sa pagplan ng SG trip namin. :) ask ko lang if ayus lang bang tanggalin ang vivo city and resorts world? O malaki ang mamimiss namin if d ko sila sinama sa itinerary namin? Thanks :)

    1. Vivo city and Resorts World madadaanan mo talaga if you go to Universal Studios. Vivo City yung mall kung saan yung train station na bababaan mo :) Resorts World nasa complex na siya ng Universal Studio so you have an option to go around or i-miss nalang siya. It's like a mall ok to go around lang but personally, it's okay not to go there :)

  5. Hi Tin!

My husband and I's tour in South Korea was a success! thanks to your blog :) and thanks for answering my queries. Now me and my friends are planning to go to Malaysia. I think we will be there for like 3 days only so is it really worth it to drop by to Singapore?

    1. Hi Cristina! THANK YOU!!! :) So happy your trip was a success :) regarding your query, it's nice to drop by SG for a day just to see at least the Merlion or go to the Marina Bay area. Sayang naman since near narin naman ang Malaysia and konti lang mapupuntahan doon so better to maximize your airfare ;)

  6. Hi Tin!

Me and my friends together with my 4yrs old son will be travelling to SG. I want to go to Malaysia to visit Legoland, however, 2 of my friends will have to leave SG by 12:04 AM Monday. Technically they will be in SG from 9:00AM Friday till 8:00 PM Sunday. Do you think we can still have a side trip in Malaysia considering their schedule? We don't want to skip Universal Studio too. I hope you can suggest the best itinerary so we can enjoy SG. Thanks.

    1. Hi! In my opinion I think kaya naman to visit Legoland from 9am to 8pm but you need to be very fast as in fast kumilos so you have more time in there :) travel to Malaysia very early like first trip of either train or bus if possible nga doon na kayo magovernight para pagopen palang ng Legoland nandun na kayo hehe. Well that will highly depend on your itinerary day before syempre. Also, you need to consider may 4 year old kayong kasama so baka hindi kayo masyado makagalaw ng mabilisan.

If all else fail, spend half day nalng in Legoland around late afternoon so hindi stressful to go back in SG and travel all the way to the airport :) Choose your rides wisely nalang and take lots of pictures para sulit haha.

Hope I was able to help you! Sorry I couldn't suggest more options since I don't know your plans and objective :)
