A Must Have For A Wet N Wild Party

Ready for a wet n wild parteh?

In my Boracay post, I mentioned that all pictures are from my friends because I was too scared to bring out my camera at night due to the rain and occasional beer shower haha. So after that trip, I realized that I need a waterproof casing accessory for my SLR...

And....tadaaaa! this is it! My latest purchase, an Aquamate SLR Waterproof Casing :) I bought this in an online store for only Php 490--not bad because the material seems legit and high quality anyway.

Aquamate Waterproof Casing protects your camera from dirt, sand and water. It can capture splendid aka high res underwater moments up to 3m/9ft and it is also ideal for outdoors, beach, pool, hiking and other extreme activities. Exciting! Now I can't wait to try this out for my next trip in Singapore :)

Bangkok 2011 Expenses

Click on the image to see it clearly :)

This was last year's Bangkok expenses which I forgot to post. My college blockmates and I went there for 4 days and 3 nights and with a very specific goal in mind--to shop till we drop! oh! and to go see the elephants (which we didn't huhu) and to watch one of the shows in Patpong ooohhh haha.

But as you can see, Bangkok is a great tourist destination for newbies because it's very very cheap! So cheap that you can go there ALL IN with only Php 15,000 well, minus the shopping and pasalubong that is.

For this trip, I spent a lot of money shopping in Chatuchak, MBK, and Platinum. With these three shopping haven--super solve ka na! what more if you will go to other shopping areas? I bet you'll be broke after the trip. Also, can I just say that I'm not usually the "galante" type when it comes to buying gifts for my family but when I visited Bangkok, I gave my whole family tons of clothes, accessories, and bags at least 3 items per person :) So prepare your eco bag, comfy sandals, and go crazy with retail therapy.

3 Sets of Personalized Itinerary for 4 Days in Korea

I remember my friend Fran pointed out that a lot of people return to Korea after their first visit to the country simply because it's one of the most "sulit" country to go to. This is contrary to other Asian countries wherein we easily feel satisfied after the first visit. My friend coined the term most “sulit” (see my Korea 2012 expenses here) to describe Seoul as a travel destination because of all the places you can visit and the things you can do there. I definitely agree with her and I am in fact one of those people who visited Korea multiple times– twice to be exact for 6 days each and I still want to return there again and again.
I know a lot of people have not visited Korea yet and others may not have the luxury of time to go to Korea multiple times so it is important for travelers to prepare the perfect Itinerary before going to Seoul. Although it’s easy to research on popular tourist attractions in Seoul, it’s definitely a challenge to prepare an itinerary that will bring the best out of your travel experience in only one visit. So here is my guide to your perfect Itinerary to Seoul.
How to start with the Itinerary?

Boracay 2012 Expenses

These are my expenses for my 2012 Summer Boracay trip. Note that the cost of the hotel that we stayed in has a discount and it is divided by 5 pax. The food and drinks are significantly low because everyday we ate free brunch c/o the hotel (carbo loading!!! para tipid haha) and drinks are sometimes divided by the whole group or free treat from a friend hihi ;)

They say it's so expensive to go to Boracay during its highest peak season, true! But, you can always control your expenses based on the activities you plan to do there and as I always say, wait for a hotel and airfare promo because it can significantly cut your expenses.

BTW, going to Boracay via Kalibo is most of the time cheaper than Caticlan but the Kalibo route may be a hassle to some since you need to travel for an additional 2 hours before you get to Boracay Island proper. But for me, if you have the luxury of time, then the Kalibo route is recommended just because it's cheaper :)

Summer Lovin' in Boracay

After weeks, months or maybe years spent in the gym for a beach ready body or the love-hate affair with your modern diet program, finally, judgment day has come—SUMMER IN BORACAY. It’s the time of the year where Summer Heat + Beach & Booze + Sexy Bods collide in one “IT” island.

Boracay is said to be the melting point of all gimmick places in Manila and not to mention that every school/university is well represented here, as if you can form a grand reunion or some sort. Here, you’ll literally meet old and new friends or friends of friends every 10-20 minutes while strolling down the shore or squeezing in the dance floor (Note that this may only be true during super peak months like April).
